As one of our three Recruiting Team Leads (f/m/x) you will be a key representative of Futurepath to our clients, a key contributor to our business development and drive our strategic recruiting initiatives. You will be working closely with our Managing Directors, team lead colleagues and your team, and also, drive cross-team projects. We are looking for a person who is business fluent in German and who can either work from our HQ in Berlin (if you are an office person :) or fully remotely from your country of residence (we work in the Central European Time zone).

What you will do:

  • Lead and develop your own Tech Recruiting Team which will be responsible for perm and freelance hiring for dedicated VW Group clients

  • Lead briefing meetings with the hiring team for active searches by establishing credibility through expertise, providing market intelligence, explaining recruiting processes, setting expectations, roles and accountability

  • Maintain close communication with various stakeholders (internally and externally)

  • Support your team in the operative daily business

  • Adapt and implement a recruiting strategy and ensure an excellent candidate experience

  • Monitor recruiting trends and potential improvement of our recruiting process

  • Support and spar with our two Managing Directors  in strategic questions

  • Control KPI  analyses of our Tech Recruiting and derive  measures, e.g. funnel analysis, control of job boards and optimization of job ads

  • Be responsible for building and maintaining relationships and a great cultural environment within your team


Who you are:

  • Want to be part of an international and diverse start-up company, and play a key role in its development
  • Have extensive experience in recruiting either from inhouse or agency models, and you would like to be part of a high-volume tech recruiting project
  • Have proven experience in leading and developing a recruiting and / or sales team
  • Have experience in client-facing, and you can confidently present and guide clients through your proposals
  • Possess passion for recruiting and tech, and you can drive our efforts in meeting our clients’ needs by attracting the right talent
  • Have proven experience in building trusted relationships, using excellent judgement and strong communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Feel comfortable in a fast-paced working environment
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent English and German skills

Selection process

Depending on the competence and the position you are interviewing for, the hiring process can include these steps:

  • After receiving your application, we will swiftly review it and get back to you.
  • As the next step, we invite you to an online video call to get to know you and tell you more about our company and the role.
  • (Depending on the position) we will ask you to prepare a small home assignment related to one of our current projects to understand your approach and analytical skills.
  • (Optional) a follow-up online call or an in-person interview together with our Managing Director and Business Development Manager.
  • You receive a contract proposal.
